Choose your parking destination before you reach Geneva-on-the-Lake: a visit to the Strip, a beach afternoon and a marina departure call for different starting points. Use the Visitors Bureau’s 2026 map to orient yourself, then follow signs at the actual space or lot.
Parking for the Strip
Look for signed parking convenient to your first stop along Lake Road. The official visitor map marks parking with a “P.” A map symbol does not establish that parking is free, unrestricted or available overnight: check the entrance signs, payment instructions and any event restrictions when you arrive.
If you are staying in a cottage or motel, ask your host whether you can leave your car there while walking the Strip. For example, Kramer Cottages lists two spaces per unit. Those spaces are for the rental party; they are not general visitor parking.
Beach and marina visits
For the marina, use Geneva Marina’s directions to 4605 Padanarum Road. Its site links a state park map that distinguishes the marina, beach and other park areas. Ask your charter captain where passengers should meet and whether vehicle or trailer parking requires a particular area.
For a beach visit, follow the park map and current park signage to beach facilities. Do not assume a marina or campground space is intended for all-day beach parking.
Busy weekends, accessible spaces and overnight parking
- Arrive with a backup location and leave extra time for traffic on holiday or event weekends.
- Check the entire sign for time limits, customer-only conditions, payment and towing notices.
- If you need accessible parking, ask your destination about the closest designated space and the route from it to the entrance.
- Confirm overnight, RV and trailer arrangements directly; ordinary car parking does not establish permission for those uses.
