Bitty Ball 2018

The City of Geneva Recreation Department is offering a Bitty Basketball program to those Boys and Girls who are in k-2nd grade; This is a Co-ed league. Games and practices will be played at the Geneva Recreation Center 44 North Forest Street. Signups will be January 9th,11th,16th and 18th from 6-8pm at the Geneva Recreation Center. Season will start at the beginning February with games starting at the end of February. Season ends March 31st. Coaches will contact players of the first practice.

Winterfest Court Hat & Glove Drive

The Geneva Winterfest Court is having a Hat & Glove Drive. While you’re cleaning out your closets and getting rid of the winter wear you no longer wear, DONATE IT!

Donation sites: All Geneva Area Schools, Geneva Public Library, Styling on Broadway, Rae-Ann Geneva, & Mary’s Diner.

The donations will be shared in town for those in need throughout December, January, February. This will take place at the Rotary Pavilion and they will be hung on a tree.

 

Architectural Review Board

The City of Geneva has a vacancy on its Architectural Review Board. This Board meets on an as needed basis to review plans for exterior changes to our downtown. Meetings take place on the third Monday of every month in which there is an application. This is an active Board position and every member counts. If you are a member of the Geneva community, looking for a way to get involved and have a background in real estate, construction, planning or like field, please email your interest to zoning@genevaohio.com or call (440) 466 4675 and an application will be provided.

Liberty Street Bridge- Ashtabula County Covered Bridge Festival

Celebrate with the city of Geneva for the Ashtabula County Covered Bridge Festival. Geneva’s Liberty Street Bridge is one of 19 covered bridges within Ashtabula County and happens to be the smallest covered bridge.

Vendors will be at the Liberty Street Bridge each day from 9am-5pm.

Vendors will have festival merchandise for sale (i.e shirts, post cards, the 2018 Calendar grab one fast/early these always sell out). Free festival programs including self guided tour maps.

Winterfest Court will be at the Liberty Street Bridge Saturday & Sunday from 9am-4pm for a Cider & Donuts Sale. Don’t miss out on a fabulous fall treat and to help out for a good cause!
